The moon was sighted this evening in Saudi Arabia, so 1 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1439 will be Sunday 12 August 2018.
The Day of Arafat (9 Dhu Al-Hijjah) will be on Monday 20 August. The first nine days of this month are recommended for fasting, most especially the Day of Arafat.
Eid Al-Adha (10 Dhul Hijjah) will be on Tuesday 21 August.
